Marra Gad shares her personal story, including her experience of both racism and love in her family, in the Jewish community, and in the wider community. Her story is centered on her relationship with her great aunt, whose racist remark gives rise to many years of estrangement, and whom she returns to help after an Alzheimer’s diagnosis. Heartbreaking at times and life affirming at others, this is a story od identity, inheritance, and choosing love.
