Christians and Jews share a tradition of peace and justice, rooted in the Torah and the Gospels, which takes seriously the ethics of the prophets. In times of growing inequality between the haves and the have-nots (in America, between Israel and Palestine, and between the global North and the developing South) Michael Lerner has been a steadfast voice for how religious and non-religious people can participate together in religious and secular movements for social change to help heal, transform, and repair the world. Rabbi Michael Lerner is editor of the Jewish progressive magazine TIKKUN, chair of the interfaith Network of Spiritual Progressives, and author of eleven books including "The Left Hand of God: Taking Back our Country from the Religious Right." Free and open to the public.
