The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia's Jewish Community Relations Council invites you to join us at Temple Adath Israel for Protecting Creation: A Jewish Response to Climate Change, a seminar in which our speakers will discuss the politics, science, national security concerns, and social implications of climate change.
The staff from Please Touch museum will be on hand to lead fun, interactive environmental education sessions for children in grades K-5 parallel to the Speaker Panel.

Rabbi Nina Beth Cardin
Rabbi Cardin is the director of the Baltimore Jewish Environmental Network (BJEN) at the Pearlstone Conference and Retreat Center. She has also served as general consultant to the Coalition on the Environment and Jewish Life.
Rear Admiral David W. Titley, United States Navy (Retired)
Dr. Titley is a nationally known expert in the field of climate, the Arctic, and national security, and is Founding Director of the Center for Solutions to Weather and Climate Risk at Penn State University.
Dr. Jalonne L. White-Newsome
Dr. White-Newsome is a Federal Policy Analyst for WE ACT for Environmental Justice. She coordinates the national Environmental Justice Leadership Forum on Climate Change as well as co-chairing the Urban Air Toxins Workgroup for the Environmental Protection Agency’s Clean Air Act Advisory Committee.
